Important Dates

Monday, March 4, 2019
In-Person voting will start in the Auditor's office. Those requesting Absentee Ballots by mail should complete their requests as soon as possible and return them to the Auditor's Office.

Friday, March 22, 2019
The deadline to PRE-REGISTER to vote for the Special School Election is 5:00 P.M. on this day. This applies to registration in person (including registration at the driver's license stations or agencies) or by mail. After this day, a person may register to vote at the Auditor's Office and vote an absentee ballot. The process is the same as for registering to vote on Election Day, and specific documentation must be provided. If possible, please register before Election Day.

The deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot by Mail is 5:00 P.M.

Tuesday, April 2, 2019
Voters may vote by absentee ballot IN-PERSON at the Auditor's Office from 8:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Election Day.

for those Villisca School District residents residing in Villisca City; East, Scott, Douglas, and Washington townships in Montgomery County; Douglas and Valley township in Page County; Douglas, Nodaway, and Lincoln townships in Adams County; and Nodaway township in Taylor County.

SHALL THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC MEASURE BE ADOPTED?

Proposition A

Shall the Board of Directors of the Villisca Community School District in the Counties of Adams, Montgomery, Page, and Taylor, State of Iowa, be authorized to contract indebtedness and issue General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $6,005,000 to provide funds to repair, improve, and equip the Enarson Elementary and Villisca Middle School buildings, including heating, ventilation, electrical, and air conditioning systems, fire alarm systems, roof improvements, and plumbing?
